Each month, I share my latest yarn haul; but with a twist. This isn’t just about showing off new yarn; it’s part of my journey to embrace a more intentional, minimalist lifestyle. Cutting back on my yarn addiction one skein at a time…
December Yarn Haul

This was a great month for my bank balance as I didn’t buy a single ball. I am half way through a lovely chunky granny (see above) so felt I didn’t need to buy any.
My January Yarn Haul

Let’s do a deep dive into what I bought.
Yarn: Stylecraft Highland Heathers
What I plan to make: A baby blanket
If you remember last month I found myself adding to the collection of Highland Heathers yarn as it is just so lovely. I have been making a baby blanket which started out in my mind as a pram blanket but now it is more like a cot to bed blanket. I absolutely love it!
But something was missing… it needed a bold border. Two more balls were needed to create this.

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Chunky
What I plan to make: A large granny.
This bundle is for another large chunky granny combination. The actual colour combination I wanted was placed on hold as they were out of stock with one of the shades so I selected another, it would be rude not to!

Other Dopamine Yarn Hauls
(Gifted or Commissions)
None this month.
Conclusion
Well I am super proud with myself for my lack of purchasing in December…and still zero regrets for my Stylecraft Chunky haul as I want to create a good batch of patterns on my website.
Hopefully it will inspire me to open up my Etsy again.
Hope your day is magical and you notice the small precious moments.
Love & healing hugs
