Sometimes, a little indulgence can bring a lot of joy, and for me, that joy came wrapped in brown paper and tied with string.

After a whole year of admiring them from afar, I finally treated myself to a bouquet of wild poppies from Petalon, a beautiful flower company based in Cornwall. I first discovered them through a lovely lady I follow on Instagram, and ever since, they’ve lingered in my mind like a floral daydream I couldn’t quite shake.

Petalon’s flowers are sent by post, and when they arrived, they were just buds—little promises of beauty to come. Watching them slowly unfurl day by day was a genuine delight. Each morning brought a new petal, a new shade, a new reason to smile. The pastel colours were soft and whimsical, and I found myself grinning every time I walked into my bedroom.

So, would I recommend these flowers to you, dear friends? Without hesitation. I can’t possibly gatekeep something that brought me this much joy. If you’re looking for a small way to brighten your days, these blooms might just be the perfect treat.
